Focus: Head Position when Breathing

ENDURANCE SET (950 yards)

  • 1 x 200 – Initiate body rotation with your hips
  • 1 x 50 kick
  • 1 x 150 – Look at pool bottom when not breathing
  • 1 x 50 kick
  • 2 x 100 – look diagonally back at pool surface when breathing
  • 1 x 50 kick
  • 4 x 50 – keep one goggle in water when breathing
  • 1 x 50 kick

DRILL SET (800 yards)

  • 8 x Broken turns
  • 4 x 2-turn 50s from middle of pool
  • 4 x 100 free w/ inline spine head position
  • 4 x 50 backstroke w/ inline spine head position

COOL DOWN(100 yards)

  • 2 x 50 EZ choice

Total Yards: 1850
