Warm Up and Drills (800 yds)
“Bubble, Bubble, Armpit” – 200 yds
“Breathe Tap Extend” – 200 yds
Paddle on Top of Head Drill
- 2 x (2 x 25 + 1 x 50) rest as needed
- 25s are Swim with a paddle on the top of your head
- 50s are swim with a long back of neck, tucked chin
One Stroking Arm (no paddle) & One Extended Arm w/ Paddle (non-stroking)
- 4 x 50 w/ :10s rest
- Odds: Breathe toward LEFT stroking arm,
Keep RIGHT arm extended and still - Evens: Breathe toward RIGHT stroking arm,
Keep LEFT arm extended and still
Main Set (2100 yds)
- 8 x 125 on 2:15
100 free + 25 kick no board – on back in streamline or 6 & 6 - 6 x (4 x 25 choice on :30) – Keep the same stroke for 4 x 25
First 25: Drill Second 25: Build
Third 25: EZ kick – no board Fourth 25: Sprint - 4 x 125 on 2:05
Cool Down – 100 EZ
